What a tranquil place and how amazing is the staff! I took my 3 year old daughter who is very shy to meet and this was her very first hairdresser experience. I looked at reviews of many kids places where they had cars for them to sit but reviews didnt add up. I wanter a big girl experience for her in a 'lady' chair. I was a little nervous I didnt know how she was going to go but Sunny, who was her stylist was so wonderful. She had a very gentle and warm approach and it was like my daughter was under a spell and sat there patiently the whole time. My daughter had a telogen effluvium condition and lost a lot of hair, her hair was all sorts of lengths and very weekened and brittle. It was absolutelly no problem for Sunny and she turned her ugly duckling hair style into a gorgeous big girl bob. Sunny is very skilled and didnt rush it in two minutes like some other salons do (what I read in other salon reviews) with kids. She also spoke to my daughter while doing her hair, giving her hair clips in her favourite colour and having little chit chats - my daughter was a but shy to answer so Sunny wouldnt know but once we left the salon she did not stop talking about Sunny all afternoon. She does not warm up to too many people so thats something! The salon is beautiful, it is very peaceful and calm, good taste in music softly playing in the background, all ladies working there were very nice and attentive - we were offered a drink on arrival and we felt welcome and warm. I will definitelly go back not only with my daughter but for my own hair. Thank you so much especially Sunny, you have no idea how much I was dreadding the first hair salon experience and thanks to you she will not have a trauma and she will actually want to go back ..now she knows what it is and that she has had a positive first experience. Really loved the whole experience here. It is on the pricier side but I think it was worth it. I love their ritual at the start and the menu!!! The salon itself is quite small. I do wonder if I would feel uncomfortable being here when our COVID cases are higher due to the inability to distance. Overall, I'll be back! EDIT: A week later and I still love my hair. This is the best colour and haircut I've had. Everyone compliments me on it daily. I finally feel like I can style my hair. I'm so happy, thank you Nina. I got some more confidence that I desperately needed.

I have been going to Olive Eco Hair for about 5 years now, I have always had the most wonderful experience with each of the stylists. The ritual before my cut is such a treat and a relaxing way to end my day after work. I have very sensitive skin so it was always important for me to go to a salon that uses products that aren’t full of harsh chemicals, and their product range has worked really well for me - plus it’s cruelty free! I can’t recommend the salon and Cass enough, I can get pretty anxious about cutting my hair but with Cass I hardly have to tell her what I want at this point and she gets it perfect every time.
